Santa came to visit me because I have been a good boy.  I got some cookies, bones and a toy!  Did I mention I like turkey?!!!

Today I went riding in the car which I love!  I would make an excellent companion for somebody that is on the road a lot because I'm a good passenger.  I met new people at Petco, Petsmart and HomeDepot.  We bought some chewies to share with some other nice doggies.

Christmas Eve

Last night, after coming in going potty, Toby headed straight for his crate for the night.  Only a slight whimper when the lights went out.

Toby has mastered sit and a hanshake in 2 days!!!!!

We will be showing off his good looks and skills after Christmas at the local Petco!

We better hit the hay soon, Toby has been a good boy and Santa is coming tonight!

Day 2

Toby is getting even more comfortable in his new setting.

Toby slept in his kennel last night.  After expressing his disdain for less than a minute, he was quiet for the rest of the night.  He did not use the crate as a bathroom and did not chew on his bed.

He has learned that after going outside to potty, a treat awaits him inside.  We find him amusing, he still is very much a puppy at heart.  He loves to roll around the living room doing what I call somersaults.  Toby is a pleasure to have and would be a wonderful addition to any dog loving home.

Day 1

Toby, aka Ice King, is my first foster ever. He is an 8 month old Pit Bull from Wake County Animal Center.  Gnawing on his tennis ball on the ride home, he closed his eyes to Toby Keith on the radio, hence Toby. After proper introductions with his extended foster family, a bath, little snacky snack, he took a snooze under the Christmas tree.

I am pleased to report he is an excellent passenger in the car and stood perfectly still while being bathed.  He walks well on the leash with an occasional tug.  He is pretty smart as he is learning the sit command very fast.  Very sweet boy, gets along well with other dogs.  So far, no indoor potty accidents!!
